In Country Consultation (ICC)
The purpose of this activity is to find key areas and selected food commodities of PHL reduction, to find Gap and weaknesses of PHL along value chain Locations of PHL of strategic food commodities in the ASEAN Member States, and to plan Pilot sites activities and groups of the strategic food commodities. The method was used during ICC to share knowledge regarding post-harvest issues, were: 1. In-depth interview with selected respondents, 2. Questionnaires by qualified surveyors, 3. Desk study of secondary data or other digital sources.
In-Country Consultation Team Members are International Expert, Regional Expert, PHL and R&D Specialists, IAARD designated officials, Implementing Agency staff and Subject Matter Experts. In-Country Consultation Respondents as Counterparts: 1. PH-experts, preferably from Research and Development institution of universities, 2. Representative of PH-business company or farmers groups with deep knowledge on PH-activities*), 3. Governmental officers dealing with PH-policy and PH-management,preferably recommended by ATWGARD.
In-Country Consultation (ICC) of the ASEAN Cooperation Project on the Project on the Reduction of Post-Harvest Losses has been done successfully to the 10 (ten) ASEAN Members States (AMS) which consist of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
